Project Description

Imbuia Construction Company continues to work its magic on this recent, comprehensive Malibu Home Remodel project. By completely remodeling and expanding the home, we gave it a distinctive Montecito Style with ocean views.

Project Scope and Particulars for this Malibu Home Remodel

Imbuia left no stone unturned in this complete reworking of the solid, but dated, original Malibu home. Of particular interest is the work done in these areas:

Expansion of the Master Balcony towards the ocean views.
Reconfigured Master Bedroom now features a spacious walk-in closet and double entry doors.
An entirely new Master Bath.
A freestanding tub in the bathroom with a new opening providing ocean views was added.
Installed new energy-efficient windows and doors throughout.
Moved interior walls, opening up spaces between the Living, Kitchen and Dining Rooms.
Removed soffits to raise ceilings and reconfigured the space under the stairway for a new wine closet.

Finishes Worthy of a Luxury Malibu Home

Keeping with the Montecito Style of the original home, we installed high-quality finishing touches, including:

Oak engineered flooring throughout.
Stone Countertops and a mix of concrete, stone and porcelain tile.
New pavers are on the driveway and entry steps.
There is a new fire pit and pavers around the pool area.
Remodeled the pool with a new waterfall and equipment.

To ensure the new home’s comfort, energy efficiency and safety, we installed a new HVAC split system and new electrical and plumbing throughout.
