About this Property

HGTV Rustic Home Renovation | Tony Hawk Home Makeover by the Novogratz/Imbuia Team

Working alongside local mills, our team sourced raw logs and live-edge wood, cutting and assembling everything on site. A standout feature is the handcrafted fireplace surround, featuring layered log slices mounted on custom plywood backing, with inset niches crafted from live wood pieces.

We also built a custom TV and storage console using a striking live-edge walnut slab. A bright blue focus wall, complete with vintage skis, adds a playful mountain vibe. From kitchen tiling and full-scope painting to demo, patching, and final furnishings, Imbuia crews delivered craftsmanship and creativity under pressure and during a snowstorm. This one-of-a-kind project is featured on HGTV and in Home by Novogratz (pages 27–39).
